The design proposal was to encomposs a multitude of the institute's functions including administration, labs, library, offices, staffs facility, board room, indoor sports arena etc. Designing and building this 10000+ sq.ft building within one of the most congested area (Broadway, Chennai) was one of the Challenge. As the design proposal pinned in a site complex where there is a 100 year old church building, a contemporary design approach was taken towards this proposition with classical design principles as a key driver.
